Entering late but still early

"It feels like your placing your foot on the ground and not slamming it into the pavement"

The first thing i try to explain to friends and skeptics is that running barefoot or minimal is pain free.
Some accept it while others call you an idiot for not "protecting" your feet.
I have to admit to being skeptical at first until i tried it for myself and was an instant convert.
As someone who has almost always had shin splints nomatter how new my shoes or orthotics were it was remarkable to feel my flat lazy feet spring back to life.

admittedly the transition has been slow, calves and ankles ache under the stress of continuous DOMS at first and the balls of virgin feet do take time to recover but i promise the end result is worth it.

I am now doing  10km every other day and running the first 5 and walking the last.

FREEDOM

what more can anyone ask for.

go barefoot, go minimal and remember to wash your feet.
